Annotations disappear when blacken/unblackening screen during due to erased.
Cause:
Blackening or unblackening the screen erases any annotations.
Solution:
Do one of the following:
1) Do NOT blacken or unblacken the screen when there are annotations to be kept.
2) Do NOT annotate when blackening or unblackening the screen.
NOTE: Blackening or unblackening the screen erases any annotations. This is a design of Microsoft PowerPoint 7.0.
